Panel announces public meetings on the Saskatchewan Auto Fund rate review
The Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel has announced public meetings as part of its review of the Saskatchewan Auto Fund’s application to adjust its rates.
The public meeting schedule is:
Regina April 7 Delta Regina 7:30 p.m.
Saskatoon April 9 Delta Bessborough 7:30 p.m.
Panel Chair Kathy Weber said the Panel encourages public participation in all its reviews, and urged people to participate in the Auto Fund review.
“At the public meetings people will hear directly from the Auto Fund about the application, so they have access to information, can ask questions, and can express informed opinions as part of the review process,” Weber said.
The rate application can also be downloaded at the Panel’s website, www.saskratereview.ca.
The public can also participate by submitting their comments regarding the application by April 28, 2014, using any of the following methods:

The Auto Fund has applied for a net rate increase of 5.2%, with rate rebalancing, to take effect August 31, 2014. The Panel’s mandate is to review rate applications, including both a technical review and public input, and submit its recommendations to the provincial government, which makes the final decision.
